What would you do if someone ask you for money on the street? Ask u for money to take transport? Will you give that person? How would you react?

I came across with this situation 2 times. 1st time about last year or 2 years ago or even 3 years ago. A young man, maybe in his twenties, ask fro $2 for MRT transport. Will you give him or not? He asked quite politely. At that point I was like ah huh? okay. Nah. $2 out from my pocket. Lol.

The second time is like about 2 weeks ago, the day i officially declared as a suspected dengue case. Argh. I was in the bus, siting down. Before I want to alight, the man beside me ask me for 50 cents change. I took all my coins out and ask him to take himself. So he took. Den i was like waiting for his 50 cents coin. I looked at him, he looked at me. No choice(my 50 cents), I ask for the 50 cents. Den he shocked me with his reply that he no money. Need money to transfer bus. So i looked at him for a while, smile and walk to the bus exit. Of coz, he say thank you.
But i dun understand why 2 hours later, i got high fever. That virus that had so many similar symptoms and the suayness of having 2 new dengue cases on my block on the following day forced me to took a blood test that cost over $100. ARGH!!!

IF not for that dengue, i would not have took the over $100 blood test. but nevermind, at least my family and I know that my blood group is O. hahaz. Maybe I am lucky enough not to tio dengue. Maybe it's my 50 cents that help? Anyway, I dun really have a choice abt that 50 cents either.
