Hello!!!

only get to blog @ day 2. coz lazy, router not here and bz.

Learning experience 1: when take morning flight, pls get those window seats. The sun rise is freaky nice. Reached airport at 0545am... and their sun rise is very early maybe 515? 530 seems like 7plus le in singapore. of coz, their 5pm+ like singapore 7pm+ so we like work till late at night.

Oh ya, the weather now is FREAKING NICE. COOLING!!! 20-24 degress at the street, imagine when the winds blows at you, shiokness... but this wun last long, winter would be another thing. Let's hope it snows for which it snows last year.

First day:
4 words, Busy, Expensive, houseman, pest busters!!!

2 guys 1 lady (including me), lady feel sick (food poisioning)...
so no choice, guy be house man. Went to shop, subscribe wireless first b4 heading to buy our groceries. Cheap items but we buy many items and that explain cheap and expensive. Iron at SGD 20+, pan @ SGD 20+? but PILLOW @ SGD0.7. YES 70 CENTS. WAHAHAHAHA. The price tag stated RMB 18.50, but when the aunite cash it, it cost 3.50 RMB? and the auntie still say so cheap? den we still dunno it's 3.5 but 18.5... den we realise its that cheap. HAHA. 70 cents for pillow? how to get this deal in singapore! Buy eggs, rice, oil, cereals. sounds really like houseman do we? haha... Learn of being independance. But we have not started to cook. soon le ba.

At night went to shop, and ate at a Singaporean restaurant. nice food, same price with singapore. Ate laksa for abt SGD6? BUT ITS CHEAP OVERALL. GUESS WHY? VERY SIMPLE AND LOGICAL, THEY HAVE NO 10% SERVICE CHARGE and 7% GST. THAT SAVE A LOT OF OUR MONEY.

OH YA, 1 MORE THING. THEIR CAB IS FREAKING CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. OR IS IT SINGAPORE CAB TOO EXPENSIVE. STARTING RATE ABT SGD2.1 . IT RISE SGD0.20 EVERY 3 KM. NO EXTRA CHARGES FOR WAITING TIME? SO WE SPENT SGD8 FOR 3 RIDES AROUND AND IT IS SPLIT BY 3 PPL. SO I GUESS, IT WOULD BE THE SAME PRICE IF WE WERE TO TRAVEL BY BUS(3 BUS RIDE).

SHANGHAI IS CHEAP.

However, there are many rich ppl in shanghai. The car that they drive ranges from very hai to WOW. Be careful when walking on roads and driving. I was horned at a passenger road as a motorbike took a shorcut from my back, and guess wad, after he horned at me and drive forward, within 2 seconds he took a U- turn. There was a policeman in front. HAHA SERVE HIM RIGHT. auctally he should be caught. HORNED AT ME!!! The cars dont signal when changing lane and they change lane like everytime everywhere. No rule. If a car is turning right and u are crossing the traffic light with the green man, i guess perdestrian had to give way to car? their rule? seems to be. It happens many times. It was so obvious that it was a red light for the car and the car still can turn with perdestrian crossing the road OMG! I'm lucky to be alife...

Day2:
First day of work. Challenging, stressful. I can sense a lot of stress coming up. The 2 NUS interns said that it is going to be a gd experience. Let's gain from it! Hard work and nice return. I am supposed to search for vendors in macau. Seems easy, u can try to find with almost no information. Just realised i have to be careful in writing abt company. Be safe, dun say abt it. But in short, I MAY HAVE A CHANCE TO GO TO MACAU ON THE NOVEMBER. HAHAHAHAHHA. COOL RITE?

Today ate jiao zi for lunch, jap curry with beef and + ala carte fried squid. not bad. Shopping centre is huge. bought 2 bedsheets at abt SGD11 each. Walk back home for 1 mrt distance coz too late. Went jogging around my hus area. COOL WEATHER. I LOVE THE JOB. SO COOLING AND SOMETIMES COLD WHE THE WIND BLOW. ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO SWEAT, BUT I SWEAT. coz i am too unfit. cant blame. My 2.4 is like 2 times the time taken for my partner to run the same distance. so i guess he's enjoying the breeze.

Oh ya, their soft toy bear is very cheap. for a super big bear is abt SGD 20. cheap? but i cannot bring over to singapore. too big! on top of that, the courier over to singapore is heavily tax, so it is still going to be very ex. lets see how can i buy many things back.

I just realised i am going to run out of clothes.
My luggage: 16.6kg inclusive of 3 1.5L full water bottle, exclusive of laptop
My fren luggage: 28kg(luggage) + 11kg(addidion bag)
So he has to paid for the overweigh charges for the 11kh as we can only check in 20kg luggage. she let him off for the 8kg, but the 11kg is too much. GUESS WADS THE COST PER KG OVERWEIGH. ITS 29/kg. not rmb, SGD... so 11kg= SGD 300+++?? Heng mine is like 16.6kg.
so i took his 11kg and my 2 luggages added to abt 27.7kg, still lighter than his 28kg bag.

This explains why i am running out of clothes during day 2. I got 2 long sleeves and 1 pants left after i bath. pathetic? yes i am. so i must buy clothings TML. Otherwise. MUAHAHAHAHA. dunno wad happen le. also need to start washing tml!

Anyway, it's 320am le. Time to sleep. Tml is a long day, going to maybe 3 big malls to shop.
