How do you define doing the right thing?

what is right

Trying hard to do the right thing but against what you want but you hope that the right thing may eventually end up with what you want. sounds complicated. guess that's the first time i experience all these.

All my life i have been telling myself to do that right thing. But it seems to be a wrong one. I know it is wrong. but why do I still carry on? It's a great question. I really dont know why. Responsible? Face? Honour? Stubborn? Stupid?

Today, i can tell myself i am 100% wrong. I dun ask for a second chance. A terrible mistake. I think i have lost everything. or should i say, i have lost the possible greatest treasure of my life.

Now, i see so much clearer. I know what to do. A great life lesson learn that i will definitely remember in my entire lifetime. Its time for me to know my directions clearer and i know.

for the first time in my life. I feel totally sucks

Long time no blog.

1) Hp screen down.
2) Laptop crashed
3) Supplier cheat me, say there's stock but there isn't

Thats bad luck enough. Lived like a village man.
Day 27

Things started getting better.
1) Company desktop repaired, now using it, but it is a chinese desktop. Most of it is in chinese.
2) Going huang shan this coming friday. looking forward to it. HAHA. my first out of town trip and i hope there are more.
3) Going to BeiJing from 18(tue nite) to 23(sun) for work. I only have to work on the 18 to 20. (20, thu is the event). If things are packed fast, guess me and desmond have the 21,22 and 23 to enjoy in BJ. the 2nd trip
4) Dec 25(thu),26 Holiday. Jan 1(thu) and 2 Holiday. Dec 31 half day.
In short, i will have 2 long holiday. If possible, lets go to other city to play. MUAHAHAHA

The past week, 1 phrase to describe. work hard play hard.
No laptop, sibei stress during work. Weekday hai...

Weekend is the best. Last fri, halloween. Went to a party, drink and dance. Had a crazy night. Started our craziness at MRT train. While waiting at station, tio warning by sercurity guard. lol. madness. Si bei high. Nice group man! abt 12 ppl there? not too sure but around there. High until sibei random. We was talking a photo at a stair when one stanger came walking down. In the end we took the photo together. We also took photo with the clown and such. Nice party. shiok!

More and more people coming to shanghai (np students, NUS, NTU). A hugh group.Shiokness. The spirit of togethereness is there. We have to depend on one other.

Saturday went to darren lau hus stay over. In total 6 guys. Formed the gossip guys. LOL. gossip some stuff, had some drinks, card games and such. Had a fun nite. Sleep till the next thing. 6 ppl sharing 2 beds. 1 use sleeping bag, 3 share a bed and the other 2 share a bed. Me vincent and desmond shared a bed. Stunningful? lol. But its a gd experience.. Woke up, went to have breakfast. NB! Saw something so disgusting.

The counter person spill a whole toufu soup on the counter(serving couter). so she took a cloth and wipe it away with a cloth(most probably dirty 1, coz for wiping) into a bowl. The bowl from full to half fill at this time. She put the bowl behind which is near the big pot of the same soup and she go wipe the table and do some stuff. We made a joke wad if they use the same bowl to refill the soup, it can save them money. lol. just a joke.. Then we saw another staff took the same bowl, and refill it. Den it serve to a guest. IT HAPPEN, THE JOKE HAS BECAME A REALITY.WOW. WAD A SOUP. OMG!!! CANT BELIEVE WITH MY EYES. Since its not serve to me, i better keep quiet to aviod any trouble as i'm in foreign land. to play safe is better. pity the guy who stand in fornt of us. But i think hor, he should know it ma. coz he saw the spiling event. Hope he din see the refilling into the same bowl. lols.

Sunday me and Xue Ling go buy our winter clothes. Afraid our huang shan trip is too cold, and for me afraid for beijing even more. So huang shan is me and desmond de warm up. lol. After that went to had catfish. 2 huge catfish with some "liaos" and fried rice. Nice dinner and a filling one. In total about 12 people was there.

gtg. now 7:17pm, in office. rushing to meet 2 new people. Colin and KC for dinner. WELCOME TO SHANGHAI. YOU ALL WILL LOVE SHANGHAI!!!

Day 10 ( Sat)

Woots... I'm getting to love SHANGHAI

These few days were busy meeting up with NP students who were in Shanghai. In total 9. Today 3 more ppl reached shanghai and i guess there are abt 4 more ppl still on the process of coming... Going to form a big gang..

Discussing to go to huang shan on the 31 oct(fri to sun). Wonder how it is down there. Seems cool.

Today went to a tourist district area, it was a eye opener. Micro crafting (craft super small chinese words that could only be readable through magnifying glass) and its handmade. Cool... Cost abt SGD$10-SGD$20. The words crafted on it could be some prayers, for safety or some other meanings. A pity i dun have a picture of that. So any1 wants to buy it, can tell me. Iw ill be shopping for gifts and such until March... Din bring camera with me, but my fren took photos. So will need some time to upload the photos. Walking further down, there are super cheap items such as shoes that cost abt SGD3-4. Shoes as in covered shoes, and the appearance is not bad. Inside should be bad. Din take a look, coz we are searching for food at that time, and we din return as we walk further down.

After shopping, we walked to (riverside). Took a boat and it cost abt SGD14 for an hour ride. The senery is nice and we spammed photos like mad even we took random photos with some ang mor.

After that, we walk to a shopping centre, passing by nan jing road, something like orchard road and now i understand why shanghai is known as a city that never sleeps and a great place for night shopping. Again, photos are uploaded later. I'm now trying to upload pics on msn space.

Day 9 (Friday)

The first time we met up the 9 ppl (in all) for dinner with 2 of our teachers. WOOTS. NICE DINNER!! I got the pictures but a bit lazy to upload. HAHA. THE LOBSTER IS WOW! NTH TO SAY. THE BIGGEST I EVEN SEEN. Nice restaurant and we had a room for ourselves

Work

Seems to get even more stress as we are more familer with our job scope. and guess wad is our job scope. To put it in simplied form, it is to do everything, anything. Supposed to knock off at 6pm but be prepared for any job/work to be arrowed to you at abt 5:50pm.. And if you tio that, OT time. by the way, i have worked for abt a week plus, and i had never knock off @ 6pm. Hai... But i still love this job. Nice experience, gd learning points and really an eye opener. Very happening and on the run type. Of coz, very easy to get scolded. I'm confident i will be scolded by some1 in time to come..

Everyday like OT and the staff here are so used to it. Can see from their pattern that they dun aim to knock off at 6pm. after that time still doing their things as usual while we will rush to finish our things by 6pm. Tiring... maybe after a while, we will be like them?

Tml going to have a event at hyatt. Heng i'm just a usherer. haha. work from 730am to 7pm i guess.

Day 6 (tue)...

Finally met with Darren Lau after 6 days... he gain weight, hope i can gain too!

By the way, thats the second slug we saw in our apartment. First is abt 1/2 of that size found in the bathroom, black in color. Too bad, din take photo with it... was dead and flash away by cleaning auntie... hais... no more slug collection. 6 days saw 2 slugs. abt 160days will see hm... 50+ slugs?

It's getting late, i will post abt other thigns that happened today next time.

Now monday Day 5 in SH...

getting more used to the environment le. but still, its hard to know whether i can survive the winter. haha...

Starting to cook our own food. Thanks to the chef desmond, so i will be learning to cook. Hope by the time i return to singpaore, i can cook some real food.

Sunday we had fried rice with chicken. woots!
Today had laksa. HAHA. cool?

The cool thing is that these 2 dishes are prepared, cooked, eat and washed by us. wahahaha

By the way, the roadside store are damn cheap. As in the food not the store. With SGD$1, i can buy a packet of fried rice or noodle or kuay tiao... and its a very bbig pack. worth SGD$4-5 i guess. Of coz, the taste sucks 4-5 times more. HAHA. literally no taste, had to add oyster sauce. But still, its filling. There is also delivery service. Oily and salty food anyway. Guess thats how they want to add taste to the food. The food we food is far better than them. Hope as time pass by, we can cook better. HAHA

Their satay(meat stick, not stay btw) cost abt SGD$0.20 to a a dollar. and their taiwan sausage cost SGD$0.20.. Cheap rite? but it doesnt taste bad. haha

Yesterday, we went to their park, Zhong Shan Gong Yuan... IT IS SO HAPPENING!!! i cant believe my eyes. at abt 7-8pm i reached, there are ppl singing, ppl gathering around, and a big dance floor for those latin dance? seriously big dance floor. at least 40-50 pairs of couples dancing (mostly ppl who is at least double my age)... but it is so happening man... Cant see in singapore one. Got la... Maybe in J_ _ _ _ G P_ _ _T de park got party, N_T for us... 50 cents party if u understand . try to fill in the blanks.

Think my work is getting more stress. I found a vendor who quote me SGD$5k for their service, den i tell me too ex, can reduce to SGD$1k. haha, and guess wad, even they accpet the SGD$1k, i think i still cannot get their service coz my company wants it for SGD400... Emoness... argh...

Spent so much effort emailing, calling, and take their call. Only the email part is in english. Btw, their document is freaking hard to read. CHINESE. POWERPOINT, EXCEL, DOCUMENT, WORDS in CHINESE. oh man chinese... hai... even call for delivery also chinese... hai
